Personal injury is a legal term for an injury to the body, mind or emotions, as opposed to an injury to property.[1] The term is most commonly used to refer to a type of tortlawsuit alleging that the plaintiff's injury has been caused by the negligence.

Bankruptcy is a legally declared inability or impairment of ability of an individual or organization to pay its creditors. Creditors may file a bankruptcy petition against a debtor("involuntary bankruptcy") in an effort to recoup a portion of what they are owed or initiate a restructuring. Divorce or dissolution of marriage is a legal process in which a judge or other authority dissolves the bonds of matrimony existing between two persons, thus restoring them to the status of being single and permitting them to marry other individuals. The legal process for divorce may also involve issues of spousal support, child custody, child support,distribution of property and division of debt, though these matters are usually only ancillary or consequential to the dissolution of the marriage.
